The Project
The primary goal of this project was to provide central heating and air conditioning to the gyms at J.A. Fair High School. The main obstacle was to remove the existing heating systems and structural components, then to install new systems with fabric air distribution systems in less than 60 days. It took very specific planning to prepare concrete and demo prior to units arriving on site. All electrical and gas piping utilities were measured and put in place so when units arrived, we were ready to offload and place them on mechanical pads.
The project consisted of:
- 120 tons of new central heat and air conditioning with ground-mounted package units
- Fabric air distribution systems
- New DDC controls by Distech
As Middleton Heat & Air’s role was to be the prime contractor of the project; demo, concrete, electrical and mechanical yard fencing were all included in the company’s scope. We’re willing to do whatever it takes to bring a project together, even if that means going beyond standard HVAC services.
Middleton Heat & Air was able to provide top-notch HVAC services while providing central heat and air conditioning to the gyms at J. A. Fair High School. The owner was pleased with the results, and the team at Middleton was able to start the project on time and finish early with proper planning.
