The Project
The primary goal of this project was to repair and get one of the chillers at Saline Memorial Hospital fully operational again. The shaft seal on the chiller was leaking and the unit had a faulty circuit board.
This project consisted of:
- Recovering all refrigerant
- Removing the faulty shaft seal and circuit board
- Replacing with brand new parts
The team at Middleton also pulled vacuum on the system and performed start-up to ensure proper operation. During this repair we were also able to check full operations of the other chillers in the hospital to ensure they were operating at full capacity.
Middleton Heat & Air was able to perform all necessary repairs and get the chiller at the hospital up and running again at Saline Memorial Hospital. The customer was very happy with the results of the project, and the team at Middleton was able to complete the project in just a week.
